Training and Work Procedure Coordinator (TA)
Position Summary:
This position provides end-to-end coordination and documentation of changes to policy and procedure through operational bulletins, work instructions and training materials. These changes occur in response to Service or Internal Requests, and in response to Project requirements. The Coordinator will also facilitate the delivery of training programs, online or in-classroom.
This position is designated as a Grid level 18, with an hourly range of of $37.28 - $42.53.
- Document, update, and disseminate policy and work procedures to enable employee compliance and to contribute to optimal performance of duties
- Facilitate training programs to enable employee compliance and to contribute to optimal performance of duties
- Creates, designs, delivers effective training sessions, workshops and other learning resources using multiple delivery methods (in-person, teams, eLearning) to deliver an excellent and impactful learning experience
- Identifies and prioritizes learning needs of specific employees
- Collaborates with business leaders, and subject matter experts to understand training needs
- Communicates training results to department Supervisors and Manager and reports training updates
- Understands and comply with PBCS, legislated and client policies and work procedures accurately
- Collates lessons learned from previous training sessions to improve future onboarding
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Intermediate experience in MS Office Suite applications
- Successful experience as a Medical Claims Adjudicator (Level 2)
- Advanced knowledge of MSP policies and procedures
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience as a Medical Benefits Enquiries Customer Service Representative is strongly preferred.
- Post-secondary education in technical writing, business administration or communications or a related field of study
- Minimum of 1 year experience in technical writing, documenting work procedures in a corporate or government setting
- Experience interviewing, and monitoring workers while documenting their progress, and addressing their learning needs
- Experience coordinating training events
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven skills in understanding policies and procedures and able to recommend changes in procedure and communicate these polices to staff
- Verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to facilitate various Training Programs
